One of the things that really is bumming me out is that in response to the current happenings, many people (e.g. on Twitter) are saying things like, "Good for you for leaving that toxic community" or "NeoGAF has changed" or otherwise putting down NeoGAF as a group. (And yes, to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if most of those commenters are the kind of people who go around complaining about PC culture and SJWs, but that's besides the point.)

The NeoGAF community is really one of a kind, and one that I'm very proud to be a part of. It's very inclusive and an easy read, and it legitimately makes me happy to see so many different kinds of people just getting along and talking about games and random stuff without random "kill yourself" posts or other dumb stuff. It's great for gaining others' perspectives on issues related to them that I wouldn't have otherwise thought of, and I myself as a black person don't need to worry about encountering any weird, racist stuff.

In addition the inclusive and liberal nature of NeoGAF I also really like our Off Topic section a lot. It's gotten to the point where pretty much the only site I check every day, all the time is NeoGAF. It's where I get all my news AND focused, specific gaming news. I can't think of any site at all that replicates that mix so well.
