Then in Super, Universe 6 Saiyans get it in like a minute, and Goku gets two new forms in 48 minutes. Fucking Caulifla goes from base level to SS3 in like two days. From SS1 to SS3 in 20 minutes. Took Goku a couple years.

Shit is trash. Fun trash though.

Super has a lot of bad moments, if it wasn't the first Dragonball for the 13-15 year olds posting it would be treated a lot worse.

 The best arc in Super is worse than the worst parts of the Buu Saga.

Super is great. Better than almost all of dbz

The nostalgia for two characters standing on screen monologuing and then powering up for multiple episodes is insane.

DBZ is weird though, it's like the Call of Duty or Madden of anime, you get a lot of people who only watch this one anime and have no interest in watching anything else. DB is cheesy with some questionable stuff (especially early on) and it defined a lot of shonen cliches soo I'm not sure how it'd hold up to a new viewer, buuuuuuut... it's still absolutely hype as fuck and one of the all-time classics.
