RLM has always been a little bit weird to me. It has that whiff of 2000s-era internet, where being super edgy for laughs was still in vogue (remember the Plinkett reviews of the Star Wars prequels mixing cogent film criticism with "lol I'm a serial killer that locks women in the basement" jokes?). I think they tried to walk that back by the very end of those reviews, with the Victim turning the tables and seeking out Plinkett for revenge. I think since then they've been more vocal in calling out prejudice and injustice where they see it, but occasionally I watch a video of theirs and wonder how much they've actually absorbed (parts of their Captain Marvel review are just grrrrrrgh). So I can't blame anyone for feeling ambivalent about RLM being one of their inspirations.

Considering the recent moderation actions and the sales insider exodus, I sincerely hope a lot of you will fuckin’ be civil when we do get any actual info in the coming weeks that pertain to any sales data. Because that was the logical conclusion to the behavior I’ve been preaching against every other month.People have been using numbers as fodder for every discussion, a lot of insight on market trends are more met with undue hostility if it’s not representing the brand they side with at a good light or they just outright defy the person’s credibility. And this is more a broke the camel’s back thing than anything real major pushback from last month’s numbers. Cause this had been going on for a long while.

Because if you do not give your good years to a man, why would he want to spend your bad years with you? (If you didnt notice - the later number is much greater!) Even worse when he is an alpha male (or several alpha males) who still have access to your younger sisters even when they are 50+. Not without risk. Not without drawbacks this liberation comes.
