The point of contention i think is in how it does affect you, really.
That's were a lot of the guess work and biases come out.

Much like it'd seem logical that if i do enjoy running over pedestrian in GTA, i'd just love to run over some folks at the crosswalk.

I don't really disagree with you; I'm just saying that the question "Why is virtual violence and virtual sex treated differently?" is answered simply by "Because they translate to real life in different manners." You can disagree with which is more likely to translate to real life, and in what way that translation is fine or not fine, but when people act perplexed as to why they're treated differently, I like to clarify that it's simply because people often think they affect people differently.

I've seen lines in skin like that before where something happened and made part of the skin way whiter than the rest of the skin. I don't think it really proves anything.
