It's Google AdSense.. just like every other web site on the internet; and it's Google's fault for letting the shit ads through.. literally nothing they can do aside from reacting to reports and blacklisting specific ads because people find holes in Google's code that detects malicious ads and run w/ it until Google deploys a fix.

I can tell you right now though nothing is official yet (as far I know, I think they're waiting to see how REmake 3 performs, but I also am not super up to date) that remaking RE1, Code Veronica, RE4 and even RE5 have all been things they've been talking/thinking about internally. I don't know which one they'll choose to do next if things go forward though.
Here's my scoop: someone somewhere at Capcom has brought up RE8 at some point.

This can't be understated. While I'm all for everyone getting their shot, having their time on the national stage, we do need to narrow the field before we hit the first primaries.
