Just send out word to our workers, only 3 people in the office starting tomorrow.
They can apply for specific days they wish to work at the office.

Most of them are pretty bummed out they have to work from home for months to come.

the governor is going to make an address about a stay at home order but we already have stuff like gyms/spas/bars closed and restaurants are doing takeout/delivery only and most places have reduced hours so i'm not exactly sure what that will change compared to now.

edit: friend's wife that works at whole foods said people are back to panic buying today because of the news saying this address is going to happen

We went through that in Ohio yesterday. We get the Stay at Home edict, only to find out it's just a continuation of existing recommendations. Nothing really changes.

My guess is that they have to formalize it in order to help law enforcement press charges against people that brazenly defy it.

More seriously: Went to my therapist appointment today, surprised they were still open/willing to do the appointment. Only one in the building. Traffic around here is lighter than normal. It's still "busy," but not BUSY BUSY. It's a little errie.

Gas Station was empty bar 2 others and the employee in the building, but the car wash was a little busy and gas was a little busy (weird).

Had to stop by Wal-mart (-_-) for a toothbrush and pay my phone-bill (monthly, pre-paid code). Was jam-packed. So I'm a little paranoid that I might catch something from that because I have to pay my phone or the service is shut off, but well... can't do much about that.

Apparently the local restaurant that bitched about the city shutting them down is staying open/order out only. So...

Hopefully they learned their lesson.

Therapist thinks this will blow over in a few weeks so we plan for an April 13th meet-up, but... I'm not as enthused/positive about that. Who knows, we're both like "let's just confirm that later on if this lockdown/quarantine goes longer than start of April."

3 nights ago, I almost told my SO to take me- it got really bad and i was taking a lot of deep breaths at one point. It's not as bad now and i was even able to dance a little bit and now i can almost take full breaths without any problems. Since I can't get distilled water anywhere, I looked into distilling my own water, but most of the cheaper portable distillers are sold out online and the cheapest one I'm finding is $299 which is a lot to get distilled water that's normally 99cents or less. :|

Read about a life hack for actually getting a delivery time for Amazon fresh/whole foods (pm me if you want info). Only got about 70% of the groceries I wanted/needed, but seemed to work and will see if it gets delivered and if they actually get the items.

On a related note, I did once hear getting pneumonia once made you more susceptible to getting it again. Maybe some truth in that, in which case, be careful.

Welp, someone I worked with may have had it. Saw him 10 days ago, went down with a flu 8 days ago and still into it, with new symptoms developing today (taste loss) perhaps though I have conflicting info on that. He was pretty mindful of distanciation (We were like 3 meters apart) and he didn't cough but it's gonna be an interesting 3 days. I hope he'll get well soon.
