For the first time in forever i feel relieved to be ugly (long)
I know a lot of femcels will look at the title and think that i'm out of it because what has being ugly brought me apart from misery, isolation and self hatred but listen.

To put everything into context, my parents are first generation immigrants and we come from a rural place in a patriarchal third world country. Whenever, we go back there, i always see women who're oppressed and powerless; it doesn't matter if they're Becky, Stacey or Femcel. They're all powerless and married off at a young age. So I guess they have a husband and some of them are able to fall in love/choose their own husbands but at the end of the day, it doesn't mean anything. Even if the husband claims to love them, they're still subservient to him and his family. It's free labour essentially, women are expected to be the angelic home-maker. They're to clean, cook, look after his parents and open their legs for their husband whenever he wants (marital rape isn't illegal)

My aunt is a stacy-lite who got married off to this guy who seemed to be really nice and a gentleman at the beginning but later on, he began to domestically abuse her and now they have 3 kids and he's refusing to work to support his family. My aunt doesn't have the adequate qualifications to support herself and divorce is considered a taboo so she's basically begging her brothers to support her and her kids.

Marriage is so over emphasized in our culture since we're big on traditional values. But whenever, i meet my aunt and see her loose skin and overweight body from giving birth to 3 children back to back; marriage begins to feel like some sort of patriarchal torture method.

And I'm just so relieved that i have the choice to be a spinster witch. That I can choose isolation instead of serving a man who will use my body as a vessel to give birth to his children and then abandon us. I feel relieved that I don't have to be a free slave, that i can walk freely outside without wearing a burqa, that i can have a job and drive and eat the things that i like without being shamed for taking too much and that i have a vibrator to pleasure myself instead of an hairy, smelly man forcing himself on me.

I have been lurking on this sub for a while and i know all the femcels have it really hard here so I'm not trying to diminish any of your struggles but sometimes it's nice to appreciate the little things and freedom you have that girls in other part of the world would die for.

They've always banned for "admitting to" things like copyright infringement or being attracted sexually to children, it's the admitting to it part that harms the forum. When you have hegemonic power over mass culture as elite liberals do, it's easy to convince yourself you are the only legitimate arbiter of acceptable discourse. But your opponents also have opinions, and guess what, we think you're nasty too. We just don't have 100 television channels to broadcast our views.

This piece is a mild example, but still contains many of the gross fingerprints which can be readily found in grosser forms elsewhere.

Examples include:
- Equating left wing movement politics with borderline fascist white nationalism
- Weaponizing identity politics to avoid serious political discourse
- Selective calls for "unity" against the GOP
