When someone says that but actually can't recall the incident you can be pretty certain that it's benign. No one says "I seem to recall Michael Richards made some vile remarks at the laugh factory"
I liked how Enzom would always bring that up as proof that n-word jokes were popular. Like Richard's was at his desk the night before writing what he said down. "Look it's a n-word! Look! Haha, this is killer stuff. What a great joke." Instead of it him getting enraged and trying to tell off a what he assumed was a heckler in a "cool" way. By using the N-word as much as possible
