I did this on Friday. My work situation got progressively worse and worse over the course of the past three weeks and I made the final decision to quit my job yesterday after being told that every single suggestion I made to improve my work situation and improve my mental health while at work was shot down by management.

Fuck it. The only reason I HAVE the job in the first place is to pay rent to keep living in a city I've been wanting to leave for over a year, so if they're not going to treat me well or budge even an inch for me, I'll just leave as soon as I can get the fuck out of Dodge. I'm not killing myself for a company that won't do a damn thing to help me.

I mean, I don't think he was saying it was exactly equivalent and as harmful as literal racism, it was a comparison to the trailer's writing quality and how it got self referential with stuff it was openly doing with how really shitty takes happen and then the person making it tries to back out and go "i was just kidding don't be so sensitive."

That's not an excuse. People in this forum have been warned and/or banned in the past for this behavior. It got to the point that the staff had to write a post condemning this kind of behavior. And now a mod has made a very inappropriate comparison. It's no coincidence that many users took an issue with it, and also a reason why staff warned and banned members in the past.

I hope they can clarify what will happen, or if they're allowing this kind of post moving forward.
