yesterday I saw an antifa image macro recommending what to wear and take, use a burner phone, delete facebook, don't brag, etc., somebody is making those

I haven't really been pissed off by anything from these protests but this one did it to me. Dude was just trying to open a dialogue, cross the lines a little bit and just be cool and they did him dirty. I can understand violence, teargas, rubber bullets and scattering crowds but this type of shit is upsetting.

If I learned anything from football riots, it’s if the cops stand in a line like hat, you don’t come near them unless you’re ready to fight. They don’t care about press badges or if you’re a woman or elderly.

I've been predicting this entire riot/covid fiasco.

And it's terribly depressing to be able to predict it. It's terribly isolating.

What you don't understand is that ideology has pre-held beliefs and when those beliefs prove false you enter into a nowhere zone of uncertainty. Watching those around me wrestle with that null-zone and unable to comprehend that their assumptions were wrong is unbelievably depressing and isolating. I have no peers. I can't relate to others.

It's the same way here but I just feel like the specific things which terrorist organization designation allows the government to do - freezing assets and spending, arresting people associated with the parent organization - just have little to no applicability to something as amorphous as the various black bloc peeps in Berkeley and Seattle. And those quasi organizations only exist because they're free to do so - once people start getting arrested, we'll just go back to the 70s situation where you have a bunch of independent terrorist cells which don't communicate. That would be crippling for a larger organization but has almost no effect on what is effectively a bunch of close friends/collaborators putting a mask on beating up fashies and throwing bricks through windows.

there's plenty of videos out of cops smashing windows or going through parking lots and slashing everyone's tires, multiple incidents of them attacking visibly pregnant black women including hitting a woman in the stomach and opening fire(with rubber bullets) on a car after a man clearly says his wife is in there pregnant, countless videos of people being knocked over as they were doing nothing, and now this man was murdered. the cops aren't doing shit right now except trying to hurt people.
