The script is online in a PDF file. It's not that bad really. Aintitcool kinda exagerrated a bit. It's definitely a good movie. Probably the best in the series after the original but it's nothing compared to Halloween. Nothing.

No, not really.  You really can't fuck up his look too much, but I'll wait to see how Tyler Mane plays the character.  He might come off as awful - I dunno.  I'm willing to give the film a fair shake.

a) The poster pedobear on GAF, whom I do not know, but by default is more reliable than AICN.

b) Some of the things in the script did sound pretty bad.  I never said that it was perfect, and I figured it had at least one rewrite ahead of it because it sounded off the fucking wall.

It's already had re-writes.  I actually have more faith in the project that Zombie had the sense of mind to put the brakes on things to work on the script.

The Dawn of the Dead, TCM, and Hills Have Eyes remakes were all, at the very least, decent.  You are just showing yourself to be an uneducated idiot again.

I don't even know what The Hitcher is, but from what you are putting on the table, you are admitting you are clueless.  TCM is  adecent, if overlong remake, and the other movies which you haven't seen are pretty good.  Guess what, Evilbore?  PD is talking about movies like he has the experience to make judgement.  What an ass.

The Hitcher was a fucking awesome Rutger Hauer movie that was recently remade with Sean Bean in the titular role of a psycho hitchhiker from hell.  I haven't seen the remake but the original was a great, great horror/suspense movie.  Very raw and unforgiving.

Honestly, I don't see them writing the bad stuff out of the script. Granted the dialog was bad, but I don't see them cutting out the shit that makes the script bad, such as the useless nudity and MTV generation horror movie bullshit.

That whole part where Loomis is leaving to go back to haddonfield, then hears a scream and sees Myers killing his wife and friends, then wakes up on the plane and realizes it was just a bad dream, should be enough to know this movie will fail hard.
