That would be easy to do if the avatar were hosted on GAF webspace, but all avatars on GAF are hosted externally, and doing such checks (and they'd have to be done repeatedly in case a person swapped their compliant av for a big one) would require waaaaaay too much server overhead.  Like, enough overhead to bury both the current servers.

what's really bizarre to me is that i'm not quite sure i used it incorrectly; i was admitting that my original reference to castlevania's art holding up originated from two games--lament of innocence and aria of sorrow--implying that there were other entries that i was maybe not so impressed with, and that my knowledge of some of the less available games is limited at best.

I don't remember Shake doing much except praise Stallion; in fact Shake, you sent me the link to his site if I remember correctly. To tell the truth, I don't remember much about your GAF days.

Now, I DO remember being quite upset with Drinky's posts and even making posts along the line of "oh, good to see he's banned" only to realize the next day that "banned" was his tag. Same with MAF but to a lesser degree; he was more of a lawless, nomadic being than a pure troll.
