No, that's just the way they are. I also have a few, stray, cat-like eyebrow hairs which are about 3 times as thick and 5 times longer than all the other eyebrow hairs. I guess it's so I don't bump into walls.

You don't have to shave it, but a trim would make it look way better. Using an electric trimmer takes like 30 seconds

How do you even groom a beard to make it look nice? It seems like theres a large period of time where it just looks so ungainly once it grows past a certain point. Maybe I don't have the face for it.

You can keep the length going, but shaping it is important. Basically just take an electronic razor and shave off the wild hairs that are slightly too long or sticking out too much. Even though my bear is long, it's at least consistent. It doesn't look as sloppy as it could.

The shitty thing about MY beard is that I'm a dirty blonde, so I have brown and blonde meshing together in my facial hair and scalp hair. My goatee and stache are blonde-ish, but my burns and neck are fully brown/sorta black. It's a bit trashy.

Ha, I've got salt and pepperish hair, but my beard is pretty much just brown. However, if I spend a lot of time in the sun, my beard starts looking red. Fucked up shit.
