It's not about current gen dying.  It's about third parties releasing proper PS4/PC/XB1 only games starting late next year.  Technically one dying the other flourishing are one in the same but w/e.

Pretty much.  Destiny looks interesting, because LOOT.  This is just a bunch of fegs shooting each other in robots.  If I ever wanted to play a game like that, I'd just go to therapy to figure out why I wanted to play a game like that.

yeah, the only thing Ghosts seems to be doing differently is the Red Orchestra-style scope.  Other than that Ghosts looks the same, except super drab and boring.  Maybe they're shackled by the direction of the single player, but it's so blah.  Black Ops 2 was the right direction to take these games: more pizzazz!

If you're not playing shooters in a party or Teamspeak nowadays you really are missing a lot. It takes a little effort to find a crew to roll with but it increases your enjoyment of any shooter ten fold.

Yeah I think so. I roll with a Battlefield clan now and it amazing how much more fun it is when you have people you can count on who are competent.

And as far as being called names its going to happen no matter what if you are playing any "competitive" game. Hell I've been called the n world after beating people in Peggle. It's not something exclusive to shooters.

It's a quandary for me; I'd laugh at anyone who bought that statue, but if I like the game enough, I'd be tempted to kit-bash together my own similar diorama. I'm still keeping an eye out for the right models so I can do that for Trenched, which I loved.
