Durararararararara~ is like 26 episodes already.  Nowadays that's what passes for two seasons.

Looking at that chart I noticed that the first OAV of the new Code Geass came out a month ago.  How was it?

The weird Alice In Wonderland thing?  I saw that subbers were complaining it was garbage- awful animation.

OK. But I want more. There's still a lot of Light Novel/Manga content they have yet to get through, although I'm unsure if the anime went on its own tangent making it impossible to adapt... (just started reading the manga, since I need my DRRR fix.)

Wasn't DRRR somewhat popular? I remember seeing Celty everywhere when it was airing, Shizuo punching that guy making his clothes fly off GIF, Adult Swim's kept it around after its run (on its website), etc.

Andrex, Durarara was very, very popular yes. It's not always popularity that determines if a show goes on you know.

Speaking of Bandai, their entire catalog is going out of print in November, so buy up anything you still want ASAP.

So, we're basically down to Sentai and Funimation [and a few smaller outfits that might release one or two things in an entire year] and both of those are beginning to lean more heavily on streaming services.

I'll recommend some stuff that hasn't been mentioned already.

TV Series:
Planetes (DVD)
Scrapped Princess (DVD)

Movies:
Girl Who Leapt Through Time (blu-ray)
Sword of the Stranger (blu-ray)

Really curious what will happen with previous volumes of Gundam UC? I know they'll take preorders for the last two volumes and release them for those who are willing to pay right away, but will there be extras for people down the road?

No worries. It's one of my favorite shows from the 00's, but I can see why others might not like it.

The Dreamworks subsidiary (GoFish!) went out of business shortly after they released it and GitS Innocence on DVD, so the rights could potentially be floating around in legal limbo.

I did give it a fair shake I think, I tend to watch at least 6 eps or so before I give something a pass. It could likely have been very good, but if I am recalling the time period correctly I may have been deep into occult/folktake anime then - xxxholic, ghost hound and such (I really still am deep into the sub genre with Natsume, Bakemonogatari and such). It may just have been a case of a too full schedule to complete something I had mixed feelings about.

I'm around ep 17 or 18 can't remember, but the last few episodes have been pretty bad. It's like the show has completely changed from be rather tense game of cat-and-mouse to a stretched out ghost of that with animu comic relief.
