if I've liked Attack on Titan and Berserk what anime would anime-bore recommend, preferably things that are up on crunchy-roll? I really like how those shows manage to unsettle you.

If you do listen to anyone, I guarantee you my suggestion (Black Lagoon) is by far the best option.

I dunno about the new Genshiken. It's too...wild and too...anime. While Genshiken had its crazy moments, it was fairly grounded. This new one is just hyperactive and just what the fuck.

I haven't watched much anime in the past, well, few years probably but I've been trying to slowly work my way back in (watched Attack on Titan because I heard lots of good things, thoroughly enjoyed myself). New Genshiken though?! I loved the original show, definitely need to give that a look.

Just the other day I remembered there was a new Genshiken anime of it and watched what was out.  It's consistent with the old Genshiken and also pretty different for having a predominantly female cast.  Compared to the manga it feels even more focused on Hato by reducing the other characters, but he's the Sasahara of this new series so it's fine.
 
I too need to find a new anime that isn't just an old series I'm already invested in.  Hunter x Hunter and Genshiken are all I watch.  Although watching the chimera arc of HxH animated is swell.  Totally worth the long (long long) wait, especially for how little it's censored.
