One of my complaints thus far is how disjointed the world seems. They go to a castle, win, go to another castle, win, go to the capital city for a bit, go to another castle, etc. I'd like more information on a lot of this shit, more insight on the tactics, etc.
Also while I'm guessing it'll be explained soon, Griffith's ability to figure everything out perfectly feels stale. I get that he has unnatural help but still, it's like easy mode nonstop. For instance the episode where he kills the guy he banged for gold. He knew he'd enter the field and leave the castle unguarded, he knew the sand storm would hide his forces, etc. Everything is perfect.
Overall I think the show is great obviously, but stuff like that bothers me. Also, the constant monologues and "people explaining shit." Like Griffith burning the queen and her conspirators, and explaining his plan in the middle of town...come on. I guess it's a weakness of the medium, much like comics.
