That gay swimming anime got my sister into watching anime. She's got a crunchyroll account and keeps hitting me up for shit to watch. We've almost finished Attack on Titan. I stopped watching because I was ahead with the manga, so it's good to have an excuse to catch up.

I think Ouran High School Host Club is next for her and she seems interested in Sword Art Online. Trying to get her to watch Bleach but she didn't think it sounded cool. She's wrong, obviously.

70% of the episodes have nothing happen in them, and of those that do, 70% of the time nothing is happening anyways. The characters are cool but aggressively bland at the same time. And some/much of the filler is just downright deplorable/unwatchable.

Attack on Titan speculation based on what was revealed in these 25 episodes:

The titans are biological weapons. They were developer by another country and then unleashed. Recall that it was mentioned earlier that titans don't actually digest what they eat, and they only focus on humans, and no concept of titan reproduction is ever shown or mentioned. All of that suggests that they aren't simply some kind of evolved life-form, but rather something that has been developed for a specific purpose. Anyway, the titans were super-effective in battle. However, their target was resilient and resourceful, erecting massive walls that encircled an unbelievable amount of land. At this point, normal titans have been rendered essentially useless, they've gone as far as they go.

So, a new generation was put into development: the aberrant titans. Each has a specialized ability focused on countering some aspect of the other country's strengths [the giant walls, the maneuver gear], while still maintaining self-awareness and being able to revert back to human form for covert infiltration.

Eren's father was a scientist working on the aberrant titan project. He may or may not have been Eren's true father, but at some point he could no longer continue working on the project, and so he took Eren and escaped to the other country. Why hasn't he told anyone about this? It would be too easy for him to get mired in politics and become just a pawn to the country's elite, so he works on a titan counter-measure in secret. Unfortunately, the other aberrants have reached maturity and they are deployed before he can finish, likely to keep him from finishing.

That, to me, makes the most sense.

SEKAI DE ICHIBAN NI NARITAI 

It's like Queen's Blade crossed with Pro Wrestling and shoot matches!  The plot involves two idol singers going to a proresu dojo and fucking around in the ring, pissing off one of the wrestlers.  She beats the shit out of one of them, Bob Holly style, then the main character challenges her to a real match.  Lots of wrasslin' holds means lots of perverted angles and screaming in pain and you see where this is going.
