sailor moon r knocks the shit out of sailor moon season 1. every episode is good. Most of the episodes connect with each other with a long overlapping storyline, the animation is MUCH better, there's far less stock footage, and the enemies are so much more interesting.

Having a big ol' nostalgia blast. Haven't seen this since i was 14

white base looks like shit, but the rx-78, Char's Zaku II, and that regular grunt Zaku II are hot. That's the coolest looking rx-78 I've ever seen.

senyuu is pretty cool,the plot is pretty much your standard fantasy anime,a demon king summon an army of monster to invade the world and the hero has to defeat him and yadda yadda... but the things it's totaly bonker,hilarious and random,the hero gets abused by pretty much everyone and spends very little time on air,he is a followed by a soldier who spends all his time pestering and annoying him,the demon king is actualy an harmless loli who actualy summoned the monster by mistake (she wanted to make popcorn you see) she summoned 12 demons (all with the names of a month) and they too are another layer of stupid and each episode ends with some new character introduced,a cliffhanger or a plot twist... each episode is only 4 minute long so it takes less time going through the currently released 18 episode than your average shonen fight... apparently it was some sort of web manga before being made into an anime which is why the episode are so short

I watched the first 5 episodes of Dog and Scissors. The show is dumb but not in the fun way. Its just really bland. The characters aren't interesting and the humor falls flat. I'm struggling to even have an opinion about it. I imagine I'll forget everything about it in 3 days

But I'll keep watching it because the dog is too damn cute

i know all of these (GTO and Golden Boy have even been on television along with trigun and cowboy bebop here) except sexy commando gaiden... but from the description sexy commando gaiden sounds exactly like the sort of show i would enjoy
also as someone who has read the watamote manga is there a reason to bother with the anime? i usualy do one or the other and rarely both since same stories and all

The WATAMOTE anime has been really good, its brand of feel-bad humor seems very well suited to that medium. Let me put it this way: I've laughed out loud way more at the anime than I did at the manga.
