Sad thing is that internet folks are probably still saying "animu been dead since...cowboy bebop" or something like that.

Just finished Psycho Pass.

Show is fantastic with one or two episodes that weren't needed but overall, anti-moe anime of the year 2013.

(Image removed from quote.)j
Makshima was more moe, tbh lol.

I mean I dislike the Rebuild movies in general, but what the fuck was 3.33 about? That was painful.

Eva 3.33 was sort of as expected.  Doesn't match 2.22, but it's a setup/transitional movie setting up the final film to be on the 2.22 level.

2.22 made the story seem like it would be satisfying even if more typical shounen.  3.33 ehhhh, now I'm back on the fence; it really muddles it up a bunch with a lot of ughhh plotting.  Everything's riding on 4.44 now.  Could be amazing and make Rebuild better than the original or it could be a clusterfuck.  Anno & team definitely have a huge amount of pressure to make a movie better than EoE & 2.22, really hope they pull it off.  Will see in a couple of years.  Might even time my next Japan vacation to when 4.44 opens over there...

spoiler (click to show/hide)
One thing that's a tad disappointing about 3.33 is that it's a much lamer version of the Kaworu plot than ep24.  Ep24 of Eva TV is still amazingly well done in the last 9 mins from the start of Beethoven's 9th symphony until the final squeeze.  Absolutely masterful direction and maybe that's why he didn't even try to do something on par with that in 3.33.  Man, it's going to be so hard to top EoE with the incredible Eva 02 vs. Eva army fight, the Jesus Bleibet real world monologue & the goo montage.  I feel bad for Anno, I don't think whatever he does in 4.44 will be able to match that :(  I should probably taper expectations....

One of the best things about Super Robot Wars is how well they've treated Eva ep24 each time they do it in a game:

#t=263s
#t=104s

Probably my favorite 10 mins in anime:  (spoiler if you still haven't seen Eva I guess)

Evangelion 3.33 is dumb.

spoiler (click to show/hide)
It's likely setting up 4.44 (?), but why waste an entire movie on that.  This is the kind of stupid dumbness that could only work for a few franchises like Evangelion or Metal Gear.  1.11 was a bore too except the few hints that something was up.  2.22 was great.  Maybe 4.44 in 2015 2016 will be great too, but still, why waste an entire movie.  It didn't need ~90 minutes to get the point across.

It wouldn't be that bad if the action wasn't poor.  Evangelion had some good action in the past.  Kinda hoping that the 4.44 preview isn't actually a 4.44 preview if that's the quality they're aiming for.

Really liking Attack on Titan.  Manages to capture the quirky style of the manga really well.
As for Flowers of Evil, i wish it were a drama rather than an anime.

Eren is the worst main character ever. On the latest ep he's like "WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS?" during martial arts training and then during dinner he's all "THIS IS WHAT I LEARNED DURING MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING WHILE YOU WERE SLACKING OFF. YOURE NOT A REAL SOLDIER." when he was the exact way just 5 minutes ago. I wish Potato Girl were the main character.

Yeah, Potato Girl is deffo main character material. Eren is the type of character who should die off like halfway through the story, and he dies crying, giving his dying wish to the superior Potato Girl, who is now more resolved than ever to defeat her foes. Then she eats a potato and farts.
