Gogeta was introduced in a Dragonball Z movie way before GT was a reality. It was that Fusion Reborn movie.
I'm kind of a special fellow lord when it comes to Dragonball, never watched GT cause lol no.
On another note, SSJ4 was terrible 
I read all of Dragonball but watched very little of the anime adaption. Read most of what would be DBZ and saw everything up to Buu. Got bored at that point and never saw all the episodes, although I did see the end stuff. Watched most of the movies. I love how one of the first few movies has Goku going "Super Saiyan", but it was before the look of that transformation came out, so it was just a red glow, lol.
Anyway, Dragonball >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Dragonball Z. DBZ should have ended after everything with Freiza and certainly should have stopped after Cell.
I did see a big chunk of GT. Back in the day the store I worked at had bootleg copies of all the DBZ/GT stuff that hadn't aired here yet and I watched most of it with shitty subtitles. I didn't watch the beginning stuff but I will give GT this- The Baby saga was pretty fun for the most part (EVERYONE vs. Goku...guess who wins ololol) and I liked the Super 17 stuff, but the last story arc with the evil dragons was pretty bad.
Enough is enough already, but if they were to 'reboot' Dragonball, I hope that they would get rid of all of the characters and start all over again, with the only link to the previous series being the dragonballs themselves. I'm sure Toriyama doesn't want to do that shit though.
