Not if you are still in a calorie surplus even after walking. Like walking is good, when I could go to work, the 40-50 minutes of walking each day was noticeable but I didn't lose weight cause I was still stuffing myself with apple turnovers and beer, I was just getting fatter at a slower rate. It's not to discourage you, you should totally walk, it's just to say that diet is much more important than anything when losing weight.
I guess this is appropriate for the good vibes thread; I have lost 10 pounds in the last 2 months. This is mostly because I am trying to avoid going to the grocery store so I just buy pasta, frozen vegetables, eggs, and carrots (for my dog). So now I only need to shop like once every 2-3 weeks. I have found that I don't want to binge when all I have is bland food at hand.
