I don't understand the endgame here.
At some point, everyone has got to sell these ridiculously overpriced shares and the price will return to normal in the single digits.
Is it just to exact some revenge on the hedge funds and to point out the ridiculousness of short selling? Is there a play here where people are going to decide to make money?
Say ape has 10 banana's in GME that he bought for 1 peanut each. Ape has invested 10 peanuts.
Now 1 banana is worth 1000 peanuts. Ape has 10000 virtual peanuts.
Ape sells 2 bananas for 2000 peanuts, 3 bananas at 400 peanuts, 2 banana's at 20 peanuts etc..
Ape makes ~2500 peanuts profit on his 10 peanuts investment.
Could Ape have made 10k peanuts profit? Yes. But Ape has autism and hates snake so losing 7500 peanuts does nothing to Ape
