Played a bit today, stored all my eggs I was keeping in my inventory freeing SIX spaces! Felt good. Also changed my egg room to a proper bedroom but now all my rooms look bare. The Nook shop needs to carry more and better furniture so I can decorate properly.

Also talked to Isabelle and somehow my island hit a three star rating so KK Slider is coming tomorrow. Not sure what I did to push it over the edge, I didn’t place any extra furniture outside yesterday and I haven’t put up any fences which I thought was a requirement for three stars.

Still not sure what to do in this game.

I've got a house and am paying it down by selling random shit I picked up. I'm saving up Nook miles for idk since I already bought the pocket organizer. I'm a few fossils away from opening the museum and shit ton of iron nuggets away from opening the shop.
Still only have the start 2 villagers on my island.

Basically all I can do is fish and sell, hit some rocks or trees with an axe and collect, or dig at holes with a shovel. Pretty simple game so far without a lot of content. Still waiting for it to open up more.

Pretty fair review IMO, even as a mega-fan of the game. Takes a long-term series-view of NH compared to past entries and the broader consequences of the major changes.

Thanks to Yeti, have laid the grounds for the shop. Will open that and museum and see what is next in this game.
Yeti gave me a ladder but idk what I'd use a ladder for yet. Can't climb trees or my house :'(

Also this game is total trolling. They tell me to get 30 softwood, 30 hardwood, 30 iron nuggets to build the shop and then they're like oh wait we forgot there's a 4th item, we need 30 wood -_-
