Title: Is there anything better than Burgers and fries?
Post by: Rman on January 23, 2008, 06:58:53 PM: I love the world of food from Thai street foods and French bistro fare to rustic Italian and American regional cuisine. However, the humble and lowly 'burger and fries' still makes my mouth water to this day. Let's honor this authentic American culinary creation today.

My favorite burger is from the Shake Shack in NYC. They use a combination of ground sirloin and chuck for their patties. I heard In-N-Out in the west coast is also fantastic. I can't way to try it when I visit the west coast later this year.

Cheeburger Cheeburger is the best place for it, too. I highly recommend it.

I used to get their fresh subs all the time, good as fuck. Got over that pretty quick though.

I've never had Arby's or In-N-Out. :( I've only had the runner-ups. Which I would agree with.

Double $6 burger from Carl's Jr. (though to some of you it may be called 'Hardy's' or something) :bow

Close second is pretty much any burger from In and Out.

Something about Hardee's burgers never sits right with me. Some subtle aftertaste.

I really like the fries. they don't have chemicals so they taste different than normal fast food fries but after a while, you realize you're tasting the potatoes and that's kind of a cool feeling.
