I love the world of food from Thai street foods and French bistro fare to rustic Italian and American regional cuisine. However, the humble and lowly 'burger and fries' still makes my mouth water to this day. Let's honor this authentic American culinary creation today.

My favorite burger is from the Shake Shack in NYC. They use a combination of ground sirloin and chuck for their patties. I heard In-N-Out in the west coast is also fantastic. I can't way to try it when I visit the west coast later this year.

YES, burgers and onion rings.

Cheeburger Cheeburger is the best place for it, too. I highly recommend it.

Shake Shack is easily the greatest burger ever. Totally worth the 30 minute wait in line.

Yeah, popcorn chicken, chicken strips... other chicken meals. Chicken and Swiss or something. Pretty good.

I used to get their fresh subs all the time, good as fuck. Got over that pretty quick though.

I've only had the runner-ups. Which I would agree with.

Yo you guys should try Arbys meatball sub.

Its got melted mozza and ranch sauce...its fucking drool good. and fukk their fries - instead upgrade to the loaded potato bites with the cheddar and bacon in the middle.

Close second is pretty much any burger from In and Out.

I really like the fries. they don't have chemicals so they taste different than normal fast food fries but after a while, you realize you're tasting the potatoes and that's kind of a cool feeling.

I've had french-fry cut potatoes (we had to peel and mash the potatoes ourselves so consider it hand-made too) that were tossed in the fryer and those still tasted like shit. And oil.
