yeah so anticipation to be at home sippin tea and sippin smoke and watching LOST is overwhelming my day.

I feel so gay being so hyped for TV.

Locke is in-tune with the Island Forces, but I'm thinking that he doesn't really knows what they are. They tell him to do things and he just does them without question. Now whether Ben knows what they are or not is another question. It's possible he does, but I think it's also possible that he doesn't either. Maybe he and Locke are the same, both tools of the Island Forces without even knowing know who or what they're working for. Ooooh.

I really liked the guy who landed first. I find his characters disposition to be soothing.

Bah, this episode was a complete cocktease. More so than usual, I mean. Sayid traded what-his-name for who's-her-face to Locke, and in the future he's Ben's personal hitman. And now we now the barrier around the island causes a 31 minute delay. What does any of this mean in the grand scheme of Lost mythology? Who can say.

My favorite moment of the episode:
Hurley: "Oh great, the boat sent us another Sawyer."

Yeah, I'm definitely more interested in the flash-forwards than I ever was with the flashbacks.  At least when they're jumping forward they feel like they're directly related to the main storyline on the island instead of learning about some unnecessary side road about how the Korean couple got their wedding ring or how the racially mixed older pair hooked up.  I'm all for character development, but come on.

The producers said that the Freighter folks are NOT there for Ben. Maybe they're ALL working for Ben and 3.2 is the heading to get off the island? Anyway, it's obvious it was code and Kate bought the bait. Nice work BABY THIEF.

still don't like what they're doing with locke, he seems way out of character

there are some cool moments here and there

i dunno, i really don't like any of the new characters except for lapidus the helicopter pilot, hoping they all get killed off pretty quick

Solid episode. Bummed that ot wasn't the SUPER SPY THRILLER the previews billed it as, but I enjoyed the unique look at the time paradox and that it sort of introduced something and warpped it up in the same episode. Early on I was thinking that the last thing LOST needed was a time paradox, but as it may turn out to be central to the mythos, 'sokay,

My wife pointed out something: Did Penny's Dad leave the faucet on on purpose? It seem like he wanted  to wake Desmond or let him know he knew. I wish I could see that Black Rock journal, interesting that Hanso had it.

Also, LOST:Via Domus was totally timed to coincide with the next two weeks of episodes.

It's almost like this season can do no wrong. It's ridiculous.

The best thing is, if the writer's strike had continued, the season would have ended with the next episode, so we will definitely find out something big and hit a cliffhanger on the next episode.

it'd be worse if this season had even more episodes!

edit: i did see the last bunch of eps back-to-back though, so that also masks any issues it might have with the pacing. shrug.

Not really filler. For one, Aaron with Kate was a HUGE HUGE HUGE bomba. Second, the Desmond episode which ends with Faraday writing down that Desmond is his Constant means that we aren't done with the temporal fuck-ups. Even if they were filler, they were some of the best filler I've ever seen on television. Especially Desmond's episode.

Yeah, me too, but I took breaks. I've never seen the pacing this good in Lost personally.

Well, yeah, got to give you that one, the Michael episode was the best fucking one. You could just see the staff of Lost laughing at the audience. No one saw that shit coming. I sure didn't, although I heard in advance someone was going to be confirmed dead.

Seriously, I thought I read a spoiler about the Oceanic 6 that clashed with that episode. Damn.

This next episode won't be a big deal until the end. We will figure out exactly what Kevin Johnson is doing.

But I will defend the Desmond episode. It may have been filler, but it was good Desmond character stuff, and as far as his backstory goes, a possible explanation for why he ran from the army.

The game is garbage.  A friend who is a Lost fanatic was playing it on his 360.  I'm glad I skipped it for the PC.  Even high resolutions and a fast framerate wouldn't make Lost a good game.
