We have confirmed this afternoon that young Oscar nominated star Ellen Page (Juno, Hard Candy) has dropped out of Sam Raimi's Drag Me to Hell and that they are currently re-casting the role. We're told that "she didn't like the latest draft of the script," which I'm sure is completely BS - I bet this is just a case of "I almost won an Oscar cold feet". Good riddance I say. Universal's film, which will be directed by Sam Raimi, is a morality tale about the unwitting recipient of a supernatural curse.
Now who will Raimi cast? :-\

She probably didn't want to be associated with a worn out has been. Plus look what happened to Dunst- her career is in the toilet and she's in rehab after three Raimi projects. Bruce Campbell is obviously the only person who can withstand the nefarious evil of Sam Raimi's talent draining touch.

For your sake I hope you are trying to get under someone's skin.

when is he not trying to get under someones skin?
Pfft. Federwang and I have a long standing game that consists of me mocking him for his blatant Raimi fanthingism. Sure Raimi isn't Uwe Boll or anything, but I find him to be grossly overrated for the most part, particularly his more recent work.

Hmmm? You must be joking. Raimi is one of the most refreshing and original directors to come around in the past 30 years. Darkman alone is proof of this. I'm not a huge fan of the spidermans but any director with the guts, talent and originality of a Raimi is worthy of true worship.
Peanut gallery forum posters.... :-X
From what I've read of her various opinions on various things, she sounds like a pretentious bitch

You hear that Raimi, even 16 year old kids think you're a hack now, dude. Stop making Spider-Man movies and sappy Kevin Costner vehicles and do something R-rated with Bruce Campbell in it, you tool!

Uh... I happen to be 30 and have seen all of Raimi's flicks. He's an above average director when he puts his energy into it but he's nothing to write home about and as has been said hasn't done anything really good or noteworthy in a decade or so. Hell, I think it's fair to say that he's never done a good studio movie.
how old is this dumb bitch anyways
:piss ellen page :piss2
