First serious reply itt, ty.
Will it import all my bookmarks and "buttons" I have on the browsers?
what about the extensions and all the other settings?
It auto-imported my bookmarks and extensions. It also told me which extensions didn't work with it and let me check for updates that were compatible with the beta.

Did you find the majority of them compatible?
Firefox told me that DownloadHelper and IE Tab weren't compatible with the new version, but it let me check for updates for them. It then downloaded compatible versions of the extensions.
Hmmm.... how long until the official version comes out?
^did it also import the personal buttons/favorites (HOW THE FUCK DO YOU CALL THOSE?) beneath the seach bar?
Like all beta software, it has it's ups and downs. Whenever the final Firefox 3 comes out it will be better than IE7 I think. Right now, I'm having too many problems with routine shit to really like it, such as submitting shit on Blackboard and watching videos on ABC.com. You know, shit that the IE 8 beta can still do.
In other words, the dumbass tech people on campus seem to think that people upgrading to IE7 will have compatibility problems, so they've sent out an email to all students to keep IE 6. They are full of shit.
^did it also import the personal buttons/favorites (HOW THE FUCK DO YOU CALL THOSE?) beneath the seach bar?Yep.
megabytes???
what?
Memory footprint.
The big drop is if all tabs are closed except for an about:blank.

Left three tabs open. That is "medium"?
When this shot was taken my friend was using downthemall in one tab on a medium sized page of pictures.
Edit: The pictures were less than a gig in total.
an installation problem perhaps?Oh. I'm an idiot :lol

P.S. IE6 blows, thank god for FF for making browsers better (tabs fuck yes!) now IE7/8 have competition which is good.
note that most sites are written for ie, the REAL standard, not that w3c goofball shit)
better tabbed browsing, better site compatibility/rendering (note that most sites are written for ie, the REAL standard, not that w3c goofball shit), better profile/performance, better integration -- did i mention the better tabbed browsing?real talk professor.
