Title: The army is full of stupid people.
Post by: rodi on April 17, 2008, 06:05:14 PM: So, they kicked two shit bags off the road because the civilian cops don't like them, thus some other guy and I take over their schedules. Well, some corporal tells us that the schedules have been revised, so we work two days we would have otherwise had off if we kept the shit bag's original schedules. Well, we work those days and when our days off finally do come around and we're chilling having a grand old time they call us and tell us that the revised schedule is moot and the original schedule is truth. So, now I am working six straight days with ten to twelve hour shifts all because some private wasn't told the revised schedule and was put in charge. (and I can't go higher because a sergeant told the private and the corporal is on sick vacation).

I blame God. :'(

When they had parachuting exercises, no one was willing to jump. The Sergeant then begged my friend to do so, saying that everyone looked up to him. My friend refused and quit shortly afterwards. :lol

I could actually see some reasoning to that. My uncle was a Green Beret and a Paratrooper and he's had many, many surgeries due to the many jumps he had to do when he was in both of those positions. Fortunately, the military is paying the bills for it but he is always having surgery.

PS- They have some tanks out in front of Camp Smith and every time I pass them going to my friend's house I want to get in one and shoot off a couple rounds. I think that'd be wicked cool. Use your mighty PFC powers to make this happen. ;p
