Someone just needs to win already

Someone just needs to win already
You're telling me. We need to decide which one of these clowns is going to bow down before Archlord McCain in November.
No thanks to the voters behind either that won't vote for the other :/
"My candidate didn't win?! FUCK IT! FUCK IT ALL! *jumps off cliff* I REGRET NOTHINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG"
Wait for Spaceworld
Someone just needs to win already
Dept. of cognitive dissonancehttp://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/
It's a bit of a puzzle to me, though maybe it shouldn't be, that some voters seem perfectly able to hold in their heads simultaneously the notion that Obama's a Muslim and that his Christian pastor is a problem.
A particularly pungent passage from Richmond, IN Palladium-Item:
"I am definitely going to try to go with Hillary," said [Mary Bunger, a 44-year-old single mom from Abington]. "I almost feel like [Obama's] anti-Christ from the Middle East."
Bunger reads news online about the election and has been "trying to talk everybody into voting, especially this year because I'm really scared for Obama to get it."
Bunger worries about the Illinois senator's ties to Rev. Jeremiah Wright, whose recent remarks and former association with the candidate made headlines the past couple months.
ALSO: In my limited anecdotal experience, and as Lynn Sweet reports today, the Muslim smear has penetrated pretty deep in Indiana.
More Republicans who crossed over seem to have done so either for more straightforward reasons -- they prefer one of the Democrats to the other, at least as a second choice, and may be considering crossing over in the general election.http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/
That was the case with Larry Lamanna, 60, a Lou Dobbs fan and former Romney supporter at another table who doesn't like John McCain's stance on immigration.
He said he was "thrilled" to hear Clinton say she'd "obliterate" Iran. "It's time someone spanked those people," he said.
what's a Hilolary supporter doing reading the kos
send her ass back to the kitchen! bill wants a pie and a bjWell, that would take care of the pie.
according to carl bernstein she's got some problem where vaginal penetration causes extreme pain. explains a lot :oMaybe it's because of Bill's giant wang.
We're all watching Lake, but in a race that could be thisclose scroll your pointer on south from Lake Michigan to that Obama county sitting like an island in southern Indiana.http://www.politico.com/blogs/jonathanmartin/
That is Monroe County, home of Bloomington and Indiana University.
Obama is up 66-34 now, but, but, but only 43% of the vote is in.
In other words, over half of the vote in the state's biggest college town -- an Obama stronghold -- has yet to even be counted.
lol

I actually threw up in my mouth. I can taste the chili, root beer, and lays chips.
The real battle is over who gets 25,000 posts first.
it's funny because I think even the dumb guy on the street can understand it's a terrible idea
the math is not that hard
but she keeps pushing it - and demeaning experts in the process - so, consider respect lost

McCain's doing the same thing, but it doesn't irk me nearly as much; I've already got him pegged as a doofus. Hillary should know better. In fact, I'm 99% sure she does know better, which makes it worse.
I'm not angry with you, Hillary Clinton. Just disappointed. *Slow, fatherly head-shaking*
I dunno, 95%, still a 2% gap, I dont see this turning into a win :(
He's so old looking after all this lol. I cant imagine running for president
I just dont get running to mccain, thats so insane lol
I understand politics is a game of thrones
If the Democrats don't win because they couldn't get enough votes, then I will stop voting for them.
Wait, what?
I understand politics is a game of thrones
Get outta here with that shit.
They don't want to win?
So, what... Kerry's kid sister needed an operation to save her life but he didn't have the cash so he went to the mob and they told him they'd give him the money if he took a dive in the big fight?
HEY WILLIAM FEDERWANG, HOW 'BOUT YER PREDICTION OF A HILLARY NOM NOW?
MUAHAHAHAHAHA
Is there any reason at all to think that Obama is more likely to do that than Hillary?
The man is not David Broder.
i have exactly the opposite reaction -- the obama might be more likely to take a stance on principle, whereas hillary has already sold her soul to the beltway power elite.
After 8 years of 'Im the president, suck on this' im not sure I can deal with it much longer
I kinda think the "Hillary looks scary!" bit is sexist.
Well, I KNOW it's sexist. "Kinda" represents my level of disapproval.

it has nothing to do with her being a woman and everything to do with her looking scary!
her jaw is, like, completely detatched
I personally feel the "us vs. them" rhetoric of the last 15 years is the most destructive thing about the American political system. Right now, our government is swinging back and forth wildly between two patronage systems. You're either part of the Republican patronage machine or the Democratic patronage machine. And whether it's viable or not, I greatly appreciate Obama's refusal to play the game.
I don't think "us vs. them" partisan rhetoric is that new or that destructive. Partisanship is inevitable in a democracy. People are meant to argue about things that they disagree on and there are a lot of genuine disagreements that people feel very strongly about.
However, "us vs. them" rhetoric based on ethnic and cultural lines is just incredibly shitty. The scapegoating of queers/immigrants/Muslims really pisses me off.
Wait does Obama have the nomination in the bag?

same - Hillary's GWBesque dismissal of "economists" as "elites" who she won't listen to was pretty much the final straw for me
listen to people. work with people. get stuff done. "my way or the highway" usually means taking the highway with the Repubs in town
especially given that hillary's more likely to crooked up a bill for the support of her buds in the backrooms. have you seen the resume of insider groups she consorts with? even if they have a similar platform, which one is more likely to actually follow through on a progressive agenda, instead of selling us out wholesale to military-industrial set? who wants to nuke iran?
CONGRESSIONAL SOURCE: Hillary having trouble finding superdelegates who will meet with her... 'No one wants to see her today'... Developing...
A determined Clinton tells reporters in West Virginia she has no plans of bowing out:http://thepage.time.com/
“It’s still early…. This is a dynamic electoral environment.”
“I feel really good coming off our victory in Indiana… It’s a new day, it’s a new state, it’s a new election.”
Oh shit, someone is dumb:
North Carolina Rep. Heath Shuler is throwing his superdelegate endorsement to Clinton. Note that Shuler said he would back whomever won his congressional district. Clinton was widely expected to win the district (CD-11), which borders Tennesse. She did so -- by 13 points.
Shuler is one of the most conservative Democrats in Congress and won election to CD-11 as part of the Democratic wave in 2006 .
Im afraid of all the pissed off women that will vote for mccain cuz obama didnt let hillary win!

Willco and I are SHOCKED at this news.
