C-SPAN is carrying it Live.
I believe he's done this before...not positive though.

Third time? :lol

:bow :bow kooch :bow2 :bow2

Kooch gives me a vibe of someone more concerned with proving his liberal credentials to the world than in making a practical difference.
I'm counting this as a data point in favor of that theory along with his vote against the Iraq withdrawal bill and the S-CHIP renewal.
-
hush, you. kooch is this mascot we keep around to occasionally do a goofy dance and irritate conservatives. you know, like we used to do with hillary, before she decided to take our endorsement as anything other than "wow, it's really cool how much she pisses off glenn reynolds!"

Swap that "liberal" with "libertarian" and who does that sound like...
The difference is that Ron Paul has a very consistent voting record in the house. Anyone here could predict what he would vote for on any given issue.
-
indeed.
"hey ron, there's a floor call for the abolition of slavery"
"i say let the states decide!"
-
yawn
this is all for show. he's not going to be impeached, they don't have the votes.
-
Yes heaven forbid we actually a have a politician that holds the constitution in such high regards.

yawn

Democrats wouldnt even vote for it even if they did have the votes.

I wouldn't use the dems' unwillingness to impeach Bush as a sign of weakness. If I was a senator and we had a super majority I wouldn't impeach him. He deserves it, but I don't see the benefit of ousting him right now.
Instead they should just make sure he doesn't walk us into another stupid war

I totally nominate Al Gore for this position!
He's already gotten under the skin of the right people, and no matter what they try throwing at him he just keeps winning awards and being infuriatingly content with his life. Since he's not going to run for office again, they'll never get to gloat over his defeat and we'll never worry about him reverting to the 1988 DLC iteration of himself.
Whereas Kooch can be dismissed as an angry and constantly thwarted little man, Gore is now a central figure in a major conspiracy theory and can't be brought down.

1. Yes we should impeach him.
2. It's not even his fault. I blame congress just as much as him.

Now now, that Constitution was SUPPOSED to stop the Negroes from running free, but look what happened.

I hold it in the same regard as the bible, out of date and not nearly as prescient as its adherents would have you believe.
What about it is out of date?

It's out of date because "jesus FUCKING CHRIST" ???

You're missing the point again, FoC.
What actual examples do you have of RP's accomplishments in the House? Yeah, he votes against everything. What's the practical difference between what he's done and what would happen if he just stayed home and watched Judge Judy?

Hey, I just want to make sure that our militia have safe access to flintlock rifles in case the ground armies attempt to find quarter in our homes while fighting the Indians.

What exactly do you think libertarian goals are?
to recuse themselves from any semblence of social responsibility; to extirpate any social/cultural guilt by desperately reducing the world to simple black-and-white economic terms; and to systematically devalue human education, experience, and worth by projecting their own gross personal insecurities onto the world at large
in that order

He actually does have a few accomplishments, but the important part is that what he votes against. If we had more politicians like him we wouldnt have had an Iraq war, a patriot act, and a bunch of other bullshit.

Is there a reason you're a better poster here than at GAF?
I am a product of my environment.

Please list actual accomplishments.
Please do not list hypothetical accomplishments he could have achieved if given the powers of Multiple Man.
