Uh, Sonic Youth, Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen, Morrissey, The Smiths, Eno, Bowie, Talking Heads, The Stooges, Depeche Mode, New Order. Music, for me, according to my listening habits, seems to die out in the early-to-mids 90s. Lotsa indie shit, too, but I am assuming Boogie doesn't want to hear that.

It's probably not the most positive comparison, but when I was single, I most easily identified with Pulp's songs more than any other band.

I keep Different Class and This is Hardcore on my iPod, but I find I very rarely listen to them. I mean, if caught in some sort of musical bear trap, I'd probably take Think Take over them. At the same time, I am pretty sure the Manics have not released a truly interesting album this decade. I think Blur called it quits at the right time. Well, an album too late, I suppose.

All it takes is a listen to Z to see that these guys know how to make a pop song. They've got a new album out now but I've yet to listen to it.

I saw them at Pukkelpop (big festival here, better than Werchter) a few years ago and they pretty much blew everyone away who performed that night, even Radiohead. The live version of Anytime was magnificent
