We can;t move in for a MONTH WHAT THE FUCK

And that asshole broker won't give our deposit back on the other place god dammit asshole.

One of my best friends lives in Chelsea or thereabouts.  He's incredibly impressionable and easy to manipulate.  Get him to start sleeping with you.  He is a marketing hobo for NBC, so you might need to ply his legs open with some sweet blow.

so the first house's owner wont give back deposit?  if you dont sign contract, i thought you could?

i'm going to a similar expereince right now:  we signeed a contract but later found the house was not legally under ownership of prevoiius owner.  the inspection failed, the owner wont give the huge deposit back, i am taking this to court

That happened to my college house. The previous owner didn't have any banisters, and he sealed all the windows with some styrofoam shit. Windows have to be accessible and able to open just in case of a fire, and for whatever reason every hall with stairs needs a banister. Oh yea, and we needed to install fire alarms

We failed inspection twice iirc.
