My friends all got jobs starting out over 40k with their accounting degrees. Is it a lot harder with 2G2D, or what?
With that GPA, you could probably apply to a graduate program at Harvard or one of those schools and then get a much better job later on because of the name on your diploma.
What kind of writing would you try to do? I've got a few novels in the works, and hopefully after my travels are done, I'll submit some query letters and try to land an agent.

Yeah, that's definitely something that I could pursue. However, I foresee the next six months to a year being a bit weird for me. I'm having to make a decision about whether I want to go straight into accounting, pursue further education, attempt to make something of the writing ability I have, or somehow manage to juggle one or more. I can't help but feel that whatever choice I make I'll end up regretting it somehow. :-\
I don't think it's even possible to get my GPA up to a 3.5. :'(Yeah, that's definitely something that I could pursue. However, I foresee the next six months to a year being a bit weird for me. Aren't most accounting firms willing to pay for the CPA exam and grad school if you decide to go? You should go straight into accounting if that's the case.
Grats man, youre a free man now.
