My friends all got jobs starting out over 40k with their accounting degrees. Is it a lot harder with 2G2D, or what?
It shouldn't be particularly hard, given that accounting is a fairly specialized profession.
With that GPA, you could probably apply to a graduate program at Harvard or one of those schools and then get a much better job later on because of the name on your diploma.
Yeah, that's definitely something that I could pursue. However, I foresee the next six months to a year being a bit weird for me. I'm having to make a decision about whether I want to go straight into accounting, pursue further education, attempt to make something of the writing ability I have, or somehow manage to juggle one or more. I can't help but feel that whatever choice I make I'll end up regretting it somehow.
