I predict the Modern Warfare controller will have LED lights and built-in GPS!
-
Seems like Activision is trying to bundle plastic toys with every one of their games.

The triggers would always get stuck on those. Kind of made the whole design worthless.

Modern Warfare 2 could be this gen's Steel Battalion.

Yeah, I don't get this. Is there anyone that thinks convex sticks are superior? The 360 sticks are so damn comfy. If the controller wasn't marred by the awful directional pad, it'd likely be my favorite controller of all-time.
-
I like convex and concave both. I think it depends on how the sticks are made and positioned. Like, I don't mind the convex sticks on the PS3 or Gamecube/Wii, but the logitech convex sticks are awful, same with the Dreamcast and N64 ones. The 360 sticks are good but I wish there were a bit more rounded since I don't have huge hands and my thumbs often just push the bottom left stick instead of sitting on top of the controller. The xbox s controller is the best; analog sticks are a medium between convex and concave.
The dreamcast analog stick is the worst. I'm still amazed that they designed it like that, especially after the Saturn 3D controller had a more comfortable concave stick. I wish I bought a 3rd party controller at one point.

haha, my friend bought one of those for Mace Griffin Bounty Hunter
I remember thinking the idea was neat (most buttons accessible at the same time with your other fingers) but that's about it.

This is the FPS controller of choice:

Dude, CoD: WaW and CoD 4 poop all over Bad Company. It's not even a comparison.
-
pretty much
-
i want them to expand on what they started with MOH: Airborne, that game was an overlooked gem (great single player, "meh" multiplayer)

Can't wait till ACIVISION-BLIZZARD bundles small, plastic, cheap, made in China Diablo figurines with Diablo 3 :hyper
Diablo 3 should come in a crummy plastic loot chest with these bundled in:
[mana drink pic]
Can't wait to hear about people overdosing on these. You're only recommended to take one per day.

cod rocks :rock

On Twitter and GAF.

Well not online though. Most players in COD just stay in one spot and camp, only a few people get aggressive and there's never really any teamwork. It's still a fun game but not as deep as I like. Bad Company is addictive as hell when you get in a good room.

Uh, what? CoD poops all over Bad Company online. From execution to the matchmaking system to the maps to pretty much everything.
And CoD has a bunch of campers? Are you insane? There are things in place to pretty much prevent that entirely. There is no designated respawn area, there are entire maps in place with no safe sniping spots, etc.
You're pulling stuff out of your bum.

The criticism that people only sit and camp on a Call of Duty map is pretty ludicrous. It painfully showcases that am nintenho has never played a match in his life.
-
No, snipers are overpowered. Because of the insane auto-aim, it's very easy to get a bead on an enemy's head from across the map. Even with short range weapons, I always see people hiding in doorways. The problem isn't that there's too many good hiding spots, it's that there's too many good chokepoints.
Bad Company on the other hand always forces the players to move around. I just think it feels less static.
-
I would destroy you in any game, am nintenho.

They also grenade spam and use martyrdom

Grenade spam isn't prevalent in World at War and is a valid (and one of my worst) complaints with CoD 4. Martyrdom is pretty easy to get around. If you shank someone - you need to keep moving.
-
it never bothered me cause I always used it :-*
but i can see why it annoyed people.
-
the poop grenade is really only a problem in hardcore where teammates die from it.
-
poop grenade :lol
thats a new one

well really thats what ur doing with martyrdom. Shitting out a grenade when u die. Oh ,and I can't take credit for that term, I first heard it from T Squared.
-
Martyrdom at least doesn't shit out a fully juiced grenade. Players will often blindly throw a grenade onto the other side of the map. You get killed before you even see the grenade danger indicator.

I know what u mean, but that "blind" throw is often times something players have cultivated on that map by knowing where people usually run to. It's really bad on the boat level, where players have learned to time the throws to get multiple people at once with a grenade. I'm bad about knowing where to throw grenades myself on certain maps.
-
At least half the kills I get on that map are from grenade spamming. Any explosive works really well over there.

Yes, but what gets me to rage are the random high traffic claymore setups. Guy who puts them out isnt even a sniper covering his ass, just a random m16 whore who puts them out and runs on, praying he gets a couple random kills with them before he dies. :lol
-
 i used to do that on the boat level.
rush up to the cabin before it becomes the hill, plant some claymore behind me and camp

What playstyle did you play in for the cabin to be the main contested area? FFA?
-
headquarters, since it gave the most exp
you just camp up there waiting for it to be the control point, lay some claymores and wait for someone to run up the stairs
-
That was headquarters I thought? ??? Then after a while it moves to another location
-
Ahh. Yes, HQ is fun, but its even more fun when you play hardcore HQ.
