I've had The Tenant in my queue forever, but right before it was about to be shipped out, Polanski got arrested and it went from Short Wait to Long Wait. They've been sending me the next available item in my queue for weeks now, and just shipped out one item (I have the one item out at a time plan), but voluntarily shipped The Tenant as well and pseudo-apologized for the wait by letting me both items out at the same time.

That's like, the best customer service ever.

The only problem I have with the whole dealio is that my mailman is a lazy fuckburt and only picks up my movies when he feels like it.  It'll be a week that goes by sometimes before he picks it up.

Yeah that's pretty typical with my Netflix service too.  I remember being on a western kick and they sent me the original 3:10 to Yuma instead of the remake that was on my queue.  A quick email and I had both at the same time.

I've also never had a problem playing any of their discs except for one that was being a bitch and barely had a scratch on it.  Again, a short email and there was a replacement sent straight to my door.

I just recently signed up for Netflix, and I'm extremely pleased with the service.  I'm using instant queue more than the actual DVD queue though.  It's just really handy having whatever I want there whenever I want.  I've completely stopped pirating (aside from the 200GB of Doctor Who that's been going for a few months now...  :teehee).  I haven't even watched the first DVD they sent me yet, but it's Crank II, so I don't think it's exactly in high demand.

Yeah, instant streaming is pretty ace. I was talking to Prole about it, who was watching MEGASHARK vs GIANT OCTOPUS on it, and we both agreed its great for watching really bad films you'd otherwise be ashamed of having an actual person put into a disc sleeve and ship out to you.

Jesus, some friends and I watched that while we were playtesting Magic decks.  It's so bad.  I don't know why, but I expected it to be entertainingly bad.  No.  It was just fucking terrible.  So we just switched it over to some of the primo softcore porn.  There was some piece of shit from the 70s with disco bush.  It was awful.  But hilarious.

I've watched porn in mixed groups before and that was weeeeeeeird.  Just a couple of times after coming back from bars downtown in Athens and this one girl and her boyfriend were always trying to get people to watch porn.  Freaking weirdos.

Although, now that I think about it the internet really has changed the dynamics for watching porn.  Since I'm old enough to remember the pre-internets porn era, there was a lot of "dude, check out my dad's smut mags" when you were teenagers and yes, even some "dude, I swiped a porn tape from my dad/older brother/uncle/pastor, come over and check it out!"

A friend, three girls we knew, and myself all watched a porn my freshmen year.
