Not only should you defriend him, you should demand that all of your friends remove him from their friends lists. If they don't do as you've requested, severe all ties with them.

What kind of personality does he have?  I'd imagine that you're gonna defriend him but it would be funny to troll him first.  How you do that depends on if he's the shy/introverted type or if he's one of the cosplayers that are totally comfortable and open about their fetishes or whatever.  The easiest thing to troll would probably be his physical features such as saying that he LACKS enough facial/body hair.  Should get a funny outburst.
