Have fun with your puny 256 colour palette ahahahahahahahahahah
the soundchip of the genesis sounds like someone is trying to kill a cat while that cat is trying to escape by scratching a blackboard
both systems suck, get over it
Genesis >> NES. Its not even funny.
both systems suck, get over it
per sho nuff's example, that's what you get when you give the genesis sound chip to a child molester.
Genesis >> NES. Its not even funny.
I'm laughing :lol
Then you're being a dumbass. The Genesis and the SNES were so neck and neck that preferring one of them usually was due to bias(Nintendo mostly), they are the 2 greatest 2D systems ever.

think about the games he plays
he's going to say neo geo. of course he is going to say neo geo.
I'm positive Bildi has never player Thunderforce
sonic 3 & knucles was better
and super mario world was better than both
U.N. Squadron was and is the bees knees, this is true. Still have my cart of it. 8)
Oddly I found Genesis did atmospheric better than the SNES, which I love
UN Squadron is pretty rad. It was a game I rented enough times that I could have bought the game, and then I did buy the game. And then a month ago when I bought a Super Fami, I bought it again. My only real knock on it is that it's a touch on the easy side.
Thunderforce is still better, though. It's not UN Squadron's fault, Thunderforce had more installments to refine things, but it is the better shooter.
As for Axelay... well, let me just say it's easy to spot the kids who only had a SNES, because they put a mediocre shooter like Axelay up on some kind of pedestal.
Yes, it's the only way I've played UN Squadron for ages now. The only thing crazy about it is the speed of the bullets. On the other hand, you still have a life bar, you still benefit from the SNES slowdown feature, and you can still "level up" the more you play. In UN Squadron, when you die, you get to come back in a better position than you were in before, unless you blew a lot of cash on weapons. In, say, Gradius, when you die, you hit the fucking reset button.
I admit, that's pretty impressive. But this is where it's at for side-scrolling action (unless you're a wimpy nancy-boy).
NO COMPARISON

Come on, lyte, Matrimelee was released in 2003 and Rage of the Dragon was 2002.
actually, a lot of those snes songs converted to genesis sound great. they sound different, but hardly awful.

I'm not gonna lie, FM synth makes my pants form a triangle wave
???
Don't worry yourself too much about the Nintendo kiddles, himu-chan. These same people would yank their pud raw to NES-style chiptune versions of those songs.
8-bit chiptunes are the bomb, dunno what you're on about man. ::)
Yes, they are awesome. But you cannot possibly maintain that 8-bit chiptunes are awesome and then roll your eyes at FM synth. Not with any kind of consistency, anyway.
The term you are looking for is 'ultra heavy metal'
