I'm feeling the same way here. Along with Dead Space and Resident Evil becoming more like Gears, it seems like all these once distinctive series have become more similar in gameplay type and it's gotten pretty boring to me. I guess it doesn't help that I've pretty much gotten burnt out on shooters halfway through this gen. The most exciting game I've seen so far is the South Park game strangely.

Tomb Raider still seemed like it has exploration-type stuff though...it had a good, if overly-cinematic, trailer.
