Im just jaded I think- splinter cell was just like- oh hey- sam doesnt stealth anymore i guess, and tomb raider was like oh hey, lara doesn't explore anymore I guess, and forza was like oh hey, this will make clarkson barf, and halo 4 was all 'wow, so much glowing shit but ill play it cause im a whore for the series'

I'm feeling the same way here. Along with Dead Space and Resident Evil becoming more like Gears, it seems like all these once distinctive series have become more similar in gameplay type and it's gotten pretty boring to me. I guess it doesn't help that I've pretty much gotten burnt out on shooters halfway through this gen. The most exciting game I've seen so far is the South Park game strangely.

I didn't watch the Splinter Cell trailer, but I'll wait to see more before deciding that they've turned it into Sam Fisher Starring In Call Of Duty. Tomb Raider still seemed like it has exploration-type stuff though...it had a good, if overly-cinematic, trailer.

I think this was the first E3 where I realized that 95% of the BIG GAMES being shown off just didn't do anything for me. Gears 4? Nope. Halo 4? Nope. Black Ops II? Nope. Splinter Cell Whatever? Nope. Resident Evil 6? Nope. Maybe I saw some other games mixed in there, but I can't remember.
