A quick Google search proves you're a liar. Why are people always exaggerating about the weather? It's one of my pet peeves.
We had a dusting of dry snow, looked pretty cool blowing around the round this morning, like driving through clouds! I also left the house with wet hair, icy wind froze parts of it on the way to the car :lol
if it's any consolation, it's -19F in great falls right now.-20 in Bozeman :'(

What? Seriously? That's strange. That's what weather websites told me earlier and what everyone was bitching about on my facebook. Sorry, didn't mean to mislead.
I'm hearing that Portland, OR shut down over half an inch of snow. WTF?have you seen portlandiers drive in the ice? :sabu

The worst thing about all this snow is that my copies of Tales of Xillia and Time & Eternity made it into OKC Thursday morning and hasn't budged since. :maf

This is what one of the major interstates north of Ft. Worth, Texas looks like this morning:

It seems to be like this all over the place. Fuckin' weird.
Janus :(There was a kid in my elementary whose mother would make him walk to school on snow days so it wouldn't interrupt his schedule.
Snow storms named after famous bond villains are never good http://www.wunderground.com/news/winter-storm-janus-state-impacts-20140121
I walked my kid into school this morning only to have the one administrator there look at me like an idiot for not knowing school was canceled and the storm was coming. One of the drawbacks of being a recluse who doesn't watch tv I suppose :'(
It doesn't look like it's gonna be that bad in NY and NE. She'll probably be fine.
Detroit got hit last night and apparently there will be more today. We were blasted last night as well.
The most annoying thing is that when the snow trucks do the roads, they pile up a few extra inches right at driveway entrances. And by morning it's a slushy, icy abomination that I have to use a metal shovel to remove.
Also, what is up with that policy?
I don't think it'll be big enough to delay planes n shit, which happened a few weeks ago. But the roads were definitely fucked up last night/this morning, and we're getting more inches tonight.
Gundam: I'm guessing she'd be at Detroit Metro, if there's a layover? I was there last week lol.
Also, what is up with that policy?
If there's a plane crash, they minimize the number of employees lost. Uplifting stuff.

I thought this was the case, but decided to maybe have some tact.
Thankfully it seems the "massive snowstorm" they predicted two days ago is not only A) not massive at all, but B) going to miss most of Boston anyways.
