Would have been FF7 if they'd shown anything more than just a brief teaser. Otherwise, Fallout 4.

Fallout 4 was the most well executed and substantial reveal.

Star Wars Battlefront mp video restored my interest in the game after the initial shitty trailer.

Ghost Recon Wildlands was the most impressive new thing shown at e3 for me.

I also thought that Warzones mode in Halo 5 looked pretty cool.

Hmm don't know.

Final Fantasy VII's reveal probably made me the most happy. After all these years Sqaure is finally going in it seems and it's not some cheap lame remake. It's the full thing. I also think that teaser was a really neat and kind of low key reveal. Still, it was just a teaser.

Kingdom Hearts 3 actually looks pretty amazing graphically and the gameplay looks to keep pushing the series. Was really happy the trailer was mostly gameplay and it kind of renewed my faith that it's an actual game.

Horizon looks pretty fantastically. I just like the way Guerrilla renders mechanical objects. They always look great and detailed. The concept sounds amazingly strange, though it seems like they make take the idea of cave men fighting mechanical dinos a bit too seriously. Still, it sounds like a cool new ip and no doubt is it a beut.

Ghost Recon actually sounds like it has an identity now. A return to pure tactical gameplay and not a lame "we don't know what we want, I guess CoD?" identity crisis that was Future Soldier. Still, I kind of have no faith in Ubisoft, especially Ubisoft open world design. Which in the end always feels copy and past with little hands on feeling. Yet, for a game like this to work. It's going to need missions and objectives that feel like someone sat down and really thought this out. Really hand crafted senerios that make you really think how you'll approach them. Hopefully the sp/co-op is good and I really hope the multiplayer is a return to big open maps that you really have to be careful and considerate as you play in them, not just run and take cover is small confined areas like Future Soldier.

Halo 5 looks good. I hope it's a return to forum, but I doubt it. Warzone sounds good, but I hate the idea of fighting AI and people. I really just want godd Halo gameplay without powers, without loadouts, and the ability to play CTF and assault on big maps when ever I want to. I doubt I'll ever get that with this series.

Neir excites me because it's a Platinum game.

FE x SMT seems insane and an actual worthwhile console jrpg. I almost want to say this is my game of the show.

it's Fallout 4, Just Cause 3, or Deus Ex MD but I voted for Horizon because: it looks cools, they revealed it with gameplay instead of a CG trailer, and it effectively means the end of the Killzone series.

just cause 3 > this list

horizon = actually not bad, but they won't go whole hog monster hunter enough and it'll wind up having too much narrative and not enough legs
cuphead = amazing graphics! amazing gameplay! I'm sure this will be fun for the four hours it will take to play the game.
doom = ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ the level editor was better than the game demo
Fallout 4 = build your own hoboville
final fantasy 7 = sorry not 15 anymore
dreams = The Real Dick Drawing Simulator
South Park = legit but mario rpg mechanics are so bad
Nier = can't complain, but can this game balance being super weird without being super pandering?
Anno = The best fun you can have with supply chains from the safety of your home.
The Last Guardian = fur-shaded giant rat thing meets distinguished mentally-challenged kid randomly yelling in the wal-mart toy aisle. mean time to AAA crate pushing is so low that it was in the reveal demo.
Kingdom Hearts 3 = If you want an incomprehensible narrative, why not go the fully monty with Nier?
Street Fighter V = somewhere in a parallel universe fighting games are interesting outside of watching EVO
SW Battlefront = the struggle between franchise fatigue and nostalgia wages a new fight
Ghost Recon = Now you can do all of the boring ubigame activites together with your friends!

What aspect was enjoyable? You don't have to go into explicit details but the actual mechanics or just the sense of the world or something. Referencing the division here I mean.

For what its worth I thought the hololens demo was impressive but not because I could play minecraft or games. I kept thinking about watching a virtual sport in the future where I had complete control over the camera. Like imagine watching a basketball game where I could view it like that minecraft demo but at any angle. That concept seemed cool to me.

Agreed. What I essentially want is a GTA online experience but with the craft and design put into a single player GTA experience. Or destiny but something that doesn't just feel like a shitty mmo like destiny.

Cuphead's art-style looks amazing. But the Chromatic Aberration pretty much harms it more than it helps. Mostly because it makes the "old-style TV glow" an eyesore. I think the last year preview of it didn't have it (or was it 2013?) and it looked SO MUCH BETTER without that.

no, you're in the right there. Nintendo fans generally have a nice mix of psychosis and obsessive compulsive disorder, so you know some of the shit that gets uploaded to play is like going to be David Lynch grade crazy.

it's the one wii u game I'm getting this year.  for the most part they seem to be doing it right.  (allegedly) different physics for each skin; SMB1, SMB3 (best), SMW, and NSMB.  online sharing, which is somehow surprising in 2015 because it's nintendo.  the amiibo junk can be unlocked in the game.  and apparently ships with with premade levels, so effectively a "new" mario game in there.

Yeah exactly. I expect a lot of genuinely good levels, a lot of bizarre shit and a lot of kaizo shit. All of which I really want to play. It's kinda like we're finally getting an official Mario game that isn't zzz babby easy.

And yeah fan-created content never really live up to the possibilities. Creating content with a joypad is one of the most frustrating experiences possible. Plus it turns out we are all shitty level designers anyway. In LBP it was virtually impossible to find any of the good user created levels that (probably) existed.

Only level creator I had fun with on console was the Tenchu one on PSX.

Yeah, I get that I'm in the minority on this one. I just really like dinking around in level editors and seeing what other people have made. The only reason I didn't get into LBP is the fact that the core game was garbage.

Level design tools are fun, but I have no interest in playing through other consumers' idea of what a good level is. Nintendo, for better or worse, is VERY GOOD at making content which helps me feel competent.  Other consumers' levels are usually impossi-bad deathtraps, or have hidden wangs in them.

It's a good thing Mario Maker is coming with 100 Nintendo-made courses then.

???

Levels in Mario games have always been called "courses." Why do you think the end of level markers in Mario World were finish line tapes?

"I'm here to interview for the course designer position"
"I don't see that listed here...there's an interview for 'lever designer' at 3pm"
"That...that...must be it"
"It looks like that position will be filled by someone other than you"
"Oh..."

I really dislike these Kaizo-esque level design people tend to make. They're the worst and not any fun. With that said, I've seen people making some pretty cool levels in hacks before, although that is a rare sight.

I plan to attempt at making pretty decent challenging levels myself and I wouldn't mind sharing them here!

I'm not against other people making things, and sharing them. It's just not something I am willing to subject myself to.

As a member of TheBore.com, it would be hypocritical for me to object to nerds putting tools in their own hands.
