Title: Will be north of Boooston this fall - tips?
Post by: Cerveza mas fina on April 29, 2016, 04:49:15 AM
Just booked ticks, gonna do a mini roadtrip with my girls (well my wife can drive  :lol), Boston, Portland, Bar Harbor. See the leaves change colour and maybe hike a bit.

Any tips for fun things along this route?

Good way to spend my bonus btw :rock

It's like the standard Bahston accent except with a lot more dick in your mouth.

True but massholes probably have the shittiest driving rep in the country.

Also Boston is like 70% one-way streets.

Terrible traffic, shitty drivers, and 70% one-way streets?

Yeah, fuck that.

This always confuses me. MA/Boston drivers aren't 'shitty' per se as much as they incredibly discourteous, which is really effective if you're trying to get someplace and you're not feeling patient. There's a reason it's called the 'Boston block'

Boston is so small you can see all the tourist crap in a single day. Download the Boston tourism app and it'll show you where everything is.

Yeah maybe if you use a "tourism app."

You need a local to get the full experience though. :noah

“You have to admit, seeing them scurrying around in the morning for their big day in the city—it’s pretty cute,” New York resident Michael Goodman said as the Bay State busybodies emulated life in a large epicenter of American culture and politics. “When they look down at their watches and start hurrying down the street like they’re headed to some of sort of huge, important meeting, it’s hard not to smile. I mean, they look like they really think they are doing something significant.”

Also Boston is like 70% one-way streets.

That doesn't sound that bad. Makes directions much easier.
