Desperate Nintendo
SNES by far. Honestly though, the Switch looks like it has the potential to be Nintendo's best console since the SNES... let's hope they don't flub it (they will)
is there anyone over 30 who picks n64 or later? I have yet to see this
is there anyone over 30 who picks n64 or later? I have yet to see thisI prefer the Gamecube, because it was fun to develop for it, and I loved the GBA player attachment. NGCs are about $20 in v. good condition in the gaming district lately. I'd like to take my broken one and make it into a casemod.

Wii is the second worse because of waggle shit.
Gamecube was the penultimate Nintendo console.
SNES comes in a close second.
N64 was a fucking abomination but I loved it for some reason.
Switch is too young to form an opinion on (that would be immoral, and maybe illegal).
GBA/DS/3DS were all really great. No complaints.
The rest are gutter trash, but I still own them all because I'm a shameless consumer whore with no self esteem.
Do you know what "penultimate" actually means?According to the dictionary, I do not.
Wii has a great library.
Arc Rise Fantasia even let you use a Gamecube controller, so I consider it a Gamecube game instead
Wii has a great library.Wii is literally a gamecube with waggle controls strapped on. GC was so great they released it twice. :rejoice

Gamecube fanboy here.
But I cheated and bought it in 2004. So, I was able to buy the system for 100 bucks and most all the good games for 20 dollars per. Best gaming value ever.
Switch - So far it has a decent library and despite it being really aged tech (I doubt it's anymore powerful than a $100 Android craptablet), it has a lot of potential that I haven't seen in a Nintendo console. We'll see where it goes but it's not bad so far.
Gameboy - Never owned one
GBC - I had a lot of fun with Wario Land 2 and Link's Awakening DX. Sold it off early on to get a Dreamcast. I have no regrets doing so.
DS - Got it at launch day and got it again later on during the DS Lite heyday. Like the Wii, there was a ton of useless hype around bad games but there were a lot of great games that didn't get much notice. A solid handheld.
original game boy had a few great games but man it was a shitshow for YEARS. going through the early years is like trying to find quality in the early years of ios gaming. just throwaway trash everywhere.
OG GameBoy is probably my personal second-favorite system after SNES for similar reasons.
Pokemon :rejoice
I even made a thread celebrating my love for it: http://www.thebore.com/forum/index.php?topic=42133.45

Revenge of the Gator
I still play Revenge of the Gator. What an awesome pinball game.
GBA. I was a college student in Japan with a 40-minute commute each way. Ate that shit up.
Fire Pro Wrestling Advance
:delicious

That little, low-resolution, low contrast screen was just so, so unusable though. Did you mod yours with lights or something? Or did you get one of those "gummy" overhead LED lights that plugged into the port?
