Title: Morality assessment thead
Post by: OnlyRegret on May 17, 2020, 03:25:37 PM
Here we assess the morality of you heathens with the cutting edge in philosophical theory and sociological conjecture with a dash of post-modernity revitalization.

Yes you return the cart (or ensure a handoff to another customer/employee) duh

1) carts piled around are aesthetically displeasing. Aesthetics over laziness always.

2) untethered carts can roll around potentially scuffing my whip/shoes, potentially impacting aesthetics as referenced above.

I return the cart because you have to put a coin in them and I'm Dutch so  :idont

Also I worked in a super market and remember the hassle of gathering all the shopping baskets and carts dropped on the street by heretics

The first thing a real dutchmen does is to check if there isn't a cart with the coin still stuck or forgotten and take that one.

The whole ritual is changed now. The store worker rinses the cart with disinfectant and then hands you one.  :existential

I am so lazy and good that I always park right next to the cart return so when I am finished unloading my cart then the return is right there.

Return the cart, always.

...unless I see someone that's double parked, then I get a running start and rocket the cart into the fucker's car

spoiler (click to show/hide)
jk, but other people who aren't afraid of going to jail or being shot by double parking assholes should totally do that

That sounds really amazing, to be honest. Good way of forcing fat-asses to actually return shit.

Oh, we tried it already? Americans are so dumb, forreal.
---

I return it unless I'm in a rush. I mean it's only like a minute or two out of the way from where I park generally.

Was a kart boy. Always return the kart. Sometimes walk it back inside.
