A few years ago my advanced English teacher
but when my mom asked why my teacher said she wasn't authorized to tell anyone else but students about their particular work (college FTW).
I'm confused here. PD started college in fall 2006, right? How was this a few years ago? PD IS A CHARACTER.

Who cares. We all know he's a liar.

He did college and high school at the same time... or something.

READ THE LINK OMG
WTMC is a program that moves high school aged students into an adult learning environment. WTMC expects high achievement and realistic planning from all students. WTMC students cannot graduate from high school without completing a certificate program at Washtenaw Community College.
Successful WTMC students must be willing to take responsibility for their own effort, education and behavior. There are no bells, hall monitors or daily announcements to keep them on track. There are many requirements and deadlines for students to meet, both at WTMC and at WCC. Students must monitor their own progress and advocate for themselves in a complex environment.

My avatar is better

Why don't you invite him here?

Transition to college courses is critical in meeting the high school graduation requirement of completing a college certificate program. A student who does not transition to college courses cannot complete a college program. A student who does not complete a college program cannot graduate from WTMC. A student's BASE teacher, counselor, and the Deans will all advise a student on the best options for completing his or her high school program.
One of the best highschool programs in the nation :-*

Lol, one of the best babysitting programs in the nation. HS was largely useless.
-
PD why didn't you go to a real HS?

That's the point!
It's not really highschool. Instead they "train" you to enter college at an early age and go from there. Are you reading the quotes I posted :(
-
I just took Advanced Placement classes and went to night school to get my Associates while in high school :'(
-
associates? why? In this day and age a associates is just as useful as nothing at all. Hell, the pressure is starting to build it seems that you should get a masters or something similar after a bachelor's to get off your feet.
-
PD why didn't you go to a real HS?
Because WTMC was a superior program. If I had gone to say Ypsi High I would have taken some AP courses all while seeing a bunch of assholes disrupt class and get passed on with little effort. I'd graduate with a highschool diploma and no understanding of anything else.
Instead I graduated with my high school diploma and an associate's degree, as well as a technical certificate. I was able to transfer to EMU as a junior; they took 77 of my credits. And guess what? The program is FREE.
It's way better than highschool, which as MAF said is a waste

I didn't know that when I was 16. :'( When I got out, I found Mcjobs that paid more than what people were offering with my associates.
-
you really should get your bachelor's at least sometime, you'll regret it when you are older that you didn't.
-
An Associate's Degree at 18 is an advantage plain and simple
More importantly it saves you thousands of dollars in college because you don't have to take prerequisites. But that wasn't much of a problem with me because all my classes are paid for as it is. MET/MEAP FTW

At 18 duh, when you get into your mid-20's and competing with fresh college graduates with a bachelor it will be rather useless.

Obviously. That's why you don't end your education with an associate's degree. You START your education with it. Or at least you do at WTMC :bow
-
PD, planning to get your masters/law degree/something after you finish your bachelors?
-
Yea. I might go to law school after I get my masters. But before I get my masters I want to you know, get a good job. I don't want to be in school forever.
Luckily WTMC saved me like 2 years of school (entry classes and shit)
-
Confirmation? Uh...ask Akia. Oh yea you can't, you're plutoed from GAF :lol :lol :lol
fuck you dude :(
-
I very likely will go straight for my masters after I graduate. I don't want to jump into the career world of business full time when I am 23 just yet.

Who knows I might do that too. Money won't be a problem for me anyway
-
you are all parent moochers :lol
-
My parents would probably want me to go to college till I am 45 or something. I really don't mind right now since it fits in with my plans currently.

uhhh ???
-
A masters would be very helpful. What aspect of business are you going into? I'm thinking about finance but I haven't decided

My parents gladly want me at home, as for many years as possible. If they are willing to pay for my masters straight out of college I am fine with "using" them if you will while I am still getting the education I want.
-
So they wouldn't want you moving to Ypsi when you go to EMU?
$400/m
-
zzz
Fuck this masters bullshit. Give me a bachelor degree and let my talent soar. Fuck college. Piece of shit.
-
Shut up Kanye
-
Kanye was a DROP OUT. Just because I'm in college and still think it's a piece of institutionalized brain washing for supposed smarties who go bat shit if they don't get a 4.0 doesn't make me Kanye, you uncle Tom!
-
At least Uncle Tom graduated from college
-
I wont run out with my bachlor's. It's silly.
Here's why. Jump into the world at 23 and then get my masters when I am like 35 with a young family to support and a full time job?
Or get it over with and jump into the world at 25-26? Easy decision imo. I'd regret not doing it while I am young when I get older, most who go back and get it when they are already working full time do.
