Title: I have a crush on somebody at my work. He's 18 (or 19?). I have a boyfriend.

There are a lot of cute guys at my work that I go to after school actually, and it can be somewhat distracting occasionally. One of them showed me his tattoo (I hate tattoos) lawl I think it was an excuse for him to show me his abs though and he had like a 6 pack which I can appreciate and find aesthetically pleasing. kekeke. One person in particular who happens to be like 2 or 3 years older than me I can't help but find myself looking at him a lot... and sometimes flirting with. :/ He also likes the same music, plays various instruments, is cute/hot as fuck, is funny, has a nice personallity, and is nice.

Does this mean that something is wrong with my relationship with my current boyfriend whom I love mucho mucho. Am I bad and should I feel bad?

One of the ugly ones started some shit with me today. One of the manager people came up to him and was like WTF IS YOUR PROBLEM TELLING SUCH AND SUCH THAT I WAS SLACKING OFF IN THE BACK BLAH BLAH BLAH. Being really confrontational.

I didn't say anything to anyone about anyone he was just fishing to see if it was me who told on him like a little bitch. I didn't even know his fucking name. I followed him after that and I called him a cock sucker and that I didn't say anything about him but from then on I will so he better be busting his ass if I'm around because I WILL start telling the managers when he's doing shit on company time.

I OWNED HIM WITH WORDS. The other people who were around were like SNAP.

He's a fucking douche.

I get the sense that Lemurs is going to break her current boyfriends heart. Really if he's been with her for how long with out the :hump Guy probably has it bad for her. Who's had a several year relationship at my age? Not many people. I've been friends with him for a very long time and have been girlfriend and boyfriend for more than two years. Not a whole lot of people my age (or any age...) can claim that especially since we pretty much never fight.

I know people who have had several year relationships during high school who broke them off.

In those cases it wasn't always cheating or anything like that. Sometimes they just grew tired of each other. I know a guy who got engaged in high school but had to break it off afterwards. Out of all the friends I know who had long relationships I can only think of one couple who actually got married, and they actually broke up and got back together.

My point is that while it's great you are optimistic, you shouldn't think that this is going to last. It's fucking high school. You are a teenager. Shit changes, beliefs change, friends change, everything changes. Hell, a lot of shit changed as soon as I graduated.

It's not so much that I find him attractive, I find a lot of guys attractive. It's the flirting and the basdknfasdasdals;dkjasd fucking blushing and what have you. It's hard for me to think of anything being wrong in my current relationship. He's so great to me and he's so cute and handsome and smart and everything that I love. I can't think of having anything more and we still haven't experienced all there is to experience together yet, you know? I love him with all my heart.

The ONLY thing that I think of that's "wrong" with the relationship doesn't have anything to do with how much I love him or how happy he makes me, because neither of those could be any better with anybody. I would spend my whole life with him.

And that's the only thing... is that I feel MAYBE I'm missing out on something if I'm not able to see other people like everyone else does and know what it's like to have a relationship with really more than just one person. This thought is STOMPED THE FUCK OUT whenever I come back to my senses and remember how great it is being with someone who clicks with me as much as my boyfriend does. It's just a thought I have sometimes and going to work and flirting and stuff with a guy I like might be a way of this feeling to mildly act out, and I feel bad for even looking at another guy on something of the same level as I see my boyfriend. I don't know if any of this makes sense and I probably contradicted myself a few times, but hopefully enough to where all they all canceled each other out.

I'm not nikki, but you might want to re-examine your current relationship. You still have a LONG way to go before you'll be ready to settle down, especially if you're headed to college after high school.

In any case, checking other people out is fine as long as you don't act on it. If you feel guilty or worried, spend time talking yourself out of a new relationship. For all you know, he may not even like you back... not to mention you'll have to put in a shitload of time just to get to know a whole new person you probably won't like in the end, anyways.

I get that sometimes from people, saying I'm missing out on something by staying with one person for so long. Sometimes I think I agree. I wonder what it would be like to flirt shamelessly with adorable guys at my school, to go to parties and make out with whoever, have a good time like that.

But my relationship with James is worth so much more than any of that. He's more to me than any one-night stand could ever even touch.

It's nice to play the field, I'm sure. But don't most people play the proverbial field in hopes of eventually finding someone they want to spend the rest of their life with? I already have that someone, so I don't need to play the field.

The only people who know enough about your relationship to make those kind of decisions are you and your boyfriend. I don't know your situation and I don't know what's good for you, but I'm just telling you what works for me in my situation. I also know that you're going to hear it time and time again that high school relationships dont last. Lots of times they don't, but they CAN, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
