not only that, putting your body into starvation mode means the next time you eat, it'll turn to LARD.

the best approach is several tiny meals a day.

Dont fast entirely, drink at least 3 liters of water a day and eat fiber rich low calorie foods with some beef jerky here and there.

With my diet there are choices.  You can have any flavor of jerky you want.  And any liquor as long as it is at least 80 proof

isn't liquor just empty calories though?

Hence why it has to be at least 40% alcohol - you will get drunk without having to consume too much of it.  Alcohol also dehydrates you which gets rid of that unwanted water weight.

What's the point of fasting like this exactly?

I've read about people at GAF doing fasts where they only eat an apple a day or some shit, and I've never understood it. What's the fast supposed to achieve?

Don't worry, it'll go down once you start hitting 30.  Then you'll be fat if you keep eating like you do now.

Where did you get your membership?  I want to get a full time trainer but they're expensive.  I have 5 free sessions with my 24 hour fitness club but I"m going to wait till summer to use them.

I have a gym membership.  I also have a personal trainer there for my excercising and dieting.

This isn't too bad because i've been through it before.  Last year I lost about 40 lbs, and then i started gaining it back recently.

fun times are ahead

How much are you paying for the trainer? $40/hr?  I'm just like you but I haven't lost anything more than 30lbs at a time since High School.  I get in excellent shape once every 2 years.  After that, I start to slack and then gradually gain about 20-25 lbs which make me go back to the gym again.  I just find it hard to keep going to the gym after I"ve gotten in shape.

well i'm using my company facility gym.  it comes out to 40 bucks a week for 2 sessions a week with my personal trainer, 2 hours sessions each.  and unlimited gym use.

and yeah, i usually stop going after i get in shape.  it sucks.  i kept it off for a long time actually though.  just like the past two months, the weight has come back strong

yeah.  it's really nice too.  a regular membership is free to all employes.  but if you want something like a personal trainer, nutrionist adviser person thingy, that costs.

they also have a daycare for employees children as well.  pretty awesome stuff.

Does your company subsidize the trainer costs?  $40 for 4 hours sounds too good to be true.  You must really like the daycare center because you can take all 10 of your kids there.

I'd imagine they subsidize it.  the employees at the fitness center aren't company employees, they're sub contracted.  so i bet my company is paying a hefty fee for everyone.

and i only have one child and i've never taken her to the company daycare >:(

It goes away dude.

I've gained ten pounds in the last month. I weigh around 143 now.

Enjoy it while you can. I'm fighting it by taking Claritin for my allergies though, which is basically Adderall with allergy meds. That basically means I eat one meal a day (which I must force myself to eat) and staying up 20 hours a day. I will probably lose 20 pounds by this time next week, lol.

Me too!  Yolk is nasty, unless it is scrambled in with the rest of it.

My ideas of health food are all pretty antiquated.  I don't know a good carb from a bad carb, but I DO know I'm not giving a one of those fuckers up.  Bread and sugar, mmm.

Celery + PB, yay.  Get the PB that has honey added and double the MM.
Title: Re: My Weight Loss Tracking Thread

fuck yes!

I'm learning about good carbs/bad carbs etc. right now so that I can speed up my weight loss, but after I get back down to the size I want, it's going to be healthy food in general and I won't care about those specifics anymore.

and yeah, the PB with honey is omg unf unf-tastic.

something that's good that sound gross, crackers with cream cheese and hot sauce on top.  and it's not actually that bad for you, but holy crap, it's delicious.
